The Grandview, Ohio singer-songwriter's talents include writing catchy, yet laidback, acoustic melodies along the lines of Jack Johnson, with insightful lyrics. There?s something organic and real about Leo Clarke on these twelve tracks that blend blues, folk, Americana and roots rock into an acoustic-pop dream world. While most of the songs are emotionally-charged, there?s the tongue-in-cheek Booty Shaker song that would crack a few smiles and pick up some feet on the bar dance floor. May 9, 2005 (Monday) -- Lots happenin': New Reality Records, promoter and producer of Leo's recorded music, is proud to introduce two new members to its team: Nathan VanHoose, Manager of Technical Operations, and Stew MacDonald, Administrative Assistant. More info on NRR staff will be forthcoming on the leoclarkemusic webpage. And, further big news, Leo is now rehearsing with the band, which will be making its debut this Saturday at Fitzwilly's Pub (1638 Dublin-Granville Rd.). More headline news shortly . . .

March 3, 2005 -- Leo embarks on the great road-ramblin' musical journey in the new New Reality Records wheels, a '93 Chevy conversion van. Pictures forthcoming; naming contest underway. Leo enroute to week of Tulsa gigs and radio spots, then on to SXSW conference in Austin. More soon.

11/26/04 --- Leo and DR traveling to LA 12/8-12/11 to check out scene -- do some movin' and shakin' -- talk with radio promo people, gig sites, and do some jam'n. Check out The Global Village Friday, Dec. 3rd. for a live interview and live jams with Leo on WCBE (90.5), 12-3 p.m. with Maggie Brennan. See you at the CD release party. Ma Rainy Band ****Friday, December 3rd, 2004**** The Pearl Bar (formerly Barrister Hall), 560 S. High St. (across street from Victory?s), Brewery District, Columbus, Ohio. --- Admission $7 --- Valet Parking available from 7 p.m. - 2 a.m. --- Come Early?Seating is Limited --- Come Lookin? Good and Feelin? Good (show?s gonna be filmed) --- --- Show starts 9 o?clock sharp --- Leo will perform solo his new, 12-song cd ?No Rewind? in its entirety, in sequence. Performance begins 9 p.m. sharp. Then Ma Rainy will take the stage to play rockin? originals and covers of such greats as the Stones, the Dead, Dylan, Lou Reed, etc.


10/15/04 --- Leo's first full-length, solo cd ? "No Rewind" ? will be released in mid-November (check it out on the Discography link). CD release party early January (details soon). Leo will begin regional touring in early '05, with additional trips planned for Austin/Dallas and NYC in the first six months of the new year.
